Olen tehnyt lisää koruja kumihimo-tekniikalla.
Kumihimo tarkoitti japanilaista nyörien punontaa, jos et vielä ole edellistä postausta nähnyt :).

Ja joulu kun tulee tässä vähitellen, tein jouluisen helmi kumihimo rannekorun.
Se on myynnissä Etsyssä :).

Rannekoru on tehty kahdenkokoisista ja -värisistä säröhelmistä. Lukko on hopeoitu.

I have made more kumihimo jewelry.
Kumihimo means Japanese braiding technique, if you have not seen the previous post here :).

And when Christmas is coming soon, I made a Christmassy beaded kumihimo bracelet. It is for sale on Etsy.

Bracelet is made of two sized and two colored crackle beads. The clasp is silver plated one.

Olen tehnyt myös erääseen uuteen elokuvaan liittyvän korun.

Elokuva on Doctor Strange :).

Odotin elokuvaa vuoden. Sen ensi-ilta oli 26.10. Suomessa ja suosittelen elokuvaa kaikille hyvän ja viihdyttävän elokuvan ystäville.
Se on Marvel-elokuva, mutta se on enemmän kuin aikaisemmat samantyyppiset elokuvat. Minusta se on paremmin tehty kuin aikaisemmat ja lahjakkaat näyttelijät nostavat sen sfääreihin!

Tein Eye of Amagotto kaulakorun.

 Silmä-koru on tehty vintage pronssilangasta ja sammalakaattihelmestä. Siinä on kumihimo nyöri ja magneettilukko.

I made also a necklace which is related to one new movie.
The movie is Doctor Strange :).

I waited for this movie for a year. Its premiere in Finland was on 26th of October and I recommend this movie to everybody who likes good and entertaining movies.
It is a Marvel movie, but I think it is much more than previous ones. I think it is made better and the talented actors and actresses are lifting it up to the spheres!

I made the Eye of Amagotto necklace.

The Eye is made of vintage bronze wire and moss agate gem. There is kumihimo braid with magnetic clasp.

Hurahtanut kumihimoon - So excited about kumihimo

Tänä syksynä olen kokeillut kumihimo-tekniikkaa, japanilaista nyörinpunontaa.
Tai oikeastaan hurahtanut täysin siihen.

Olen kolmatta kuukautta jo sairauslomalla, joten tämä on ollut mielenkiintoista ajankulua. Ja uuden opettelu on aina mieltäylentävää!

Kumihimoa voi tehdä myös metallilangoilla ja sitä voi hyvin myös yhdistää langoista tehtyihin ranne- ja kaulakoruihin.

Youtubesta löytyy todella paljon englanninkielisiä ohjevideoita, sieltähän minäkin tämän tietysti opettelin :).

This autumn I have tried kumihimo technique - Japanese braiding technique. And actually now I'm pretty excited about it.

It's already my third month as on sick leave, so making kumihimo has been such a nice thing to spend time. And to learn something new is always mind lifting!

You can make kumihimo also using metal wire. And of course you can connect metal wire jewelry to the things you have made using cords and other stuff.

You find a lot of English kumihimo tutorials on Youtube - I learnt it also by watching those videos :).

Orkidea -o- Orchid

Palasin pikku tauon jälkeen Abby Hookin kirjan "Wire Jewelry Masterclass" pariin. Tein sieltä ohjeista Orkidea-rintakorun. Se oli oikeastaan ensimmäinen ohje, josta aattelin että tuo on ehdottomasti tehtävä -kun sain kirjan käteen. Ja nyt sen tein :).
Tykkäsin tehdä sitä tosi paljon. En ehtinyt yhdeltä istumalta sitä tehdä, mutta koko ajan ajatukset pyörivät korussa, kun se oli vielä keskeneräinen. Ja voi sitä tunnetta kun kun viimein sain sen valmiiksi <3! Siinä on se, miksi tykkään tehdä näitä metallilankakoruja :)!

After a little break I get back to Abby Hook's book "Wire Jewelry Masterclass". I followed one tutorial to make an Orchid brooch. When I saw that book for the first time, it was the first tutorial I wanted to make definitely. So now I did make it :)!

I liked a lot to make it! i didn't have the time to make at once. All the time when the brooch was unfinished, I was thinking about it. And oh boy! What a feeling it was, when I finished it <3!!! That's the reason why I'm making the metal wire jewelry :)!

I have been having somekind of virus sickness for over a week...

During last weekend I made a short necklace ( almost a choker) out of celestites.

I thought that maybe this necklace with these stones 

would help me somehow :).

There are also silver plated wire and chain, glassbeads and gunmetal chain.

I made a custom - a tree of life for a present to someone who has borned on November.

And here it is.

 Puussa piti olla vihreää, joten tein puun sitten tummalla vintage-langalla. 

Vihreys on peridoottisiruja ja -helmiä.

Vintage-ketjussa on lasihelmiä.

There have to be green on that tree, so I made the tree with dark vintage wire. 

The greenness comes from peridotchips and -gems. 

There are glassbeads on the vintage chain.

Joo, edellisen kaulakorun pariksi tein sitten pronssiketjusta, jota oli vielä jäljellä, rannekorun.

Siinä on pronssiketjua, sinisiä lasihelmiä ja punaisia jadehelmiä.

                               

Yes, I made a bracelet to wear with that previous bronze chain necklace. I had some bronze chain still left.

So there is bronze chain, blue glass beads and red jadegems.

Teinpä sitten 30 Seconds to Mars symboli-kaulakorun.
30 Seconds to Mars on amerikkalainen rockbändi, jonka keulakuva on Jared Leto.

Kauan aikaa sitä suunnittelin, eilen sen sitten väsäsin :).
Siinä on mustia lasihelmiä, ruskeaa gun metal -lankaa ja gun metal-ketju.
Se on aika karkeasti tehty, myönnän sen :) - ehkä teen toisen paremman myöhemmin :).

So I made a 30 Seconds to Mars glyph-necklace.

30 Seconds to Mars is an American rockband and Jared leto is a frontman of it.

I planned it for a long time, but yesterday I made it. :).

There are black glass beads, brown gun metal-wire and gunmetal-chain.

 I made it kind of roughly, I admit .) - maybe later I will make the better one :).

Kaulakorussa on oransseja karneolihelmiä, kirjavia jadehelmiä ja mustia lasihelmiä. Riipuksena on isompi akaatti. En tiedä , mikä akaatti ;). Metallilanka on vintage-lankaa. 

Minun täytyy hankkiakin sitä lisää seuraavaksi. Tykkään siitä :)!

There are orange carnelians, colored jadegems and black glass beads in this necklace. As a pendant there is a agate. I don't know which agate ;). The wire is vintage-wire.

Soon I really have get so more of this wonderful vintage-wire. I really like it :)!

My holiday is over, it was just a lovely holiday :).
I was visiting my parents, brothers, other relatives and
friends in Central Finland.
I was busy for doing many kinds of things but I also

Äidillekin piti tehdä hämähäkki :). Ja tämän nimi on Hämähäkki-Liisa :D. Se on äiti-hämähäkki ;). Kivenä siinä on Australiasta saatu krysanteemikivi, pää on lasihelmi ja lankana hopeoitua metallilankaa.

My mother wanted a spider too, so I made it :). And its name is Liisa the Spider :D. It is a mother spider ;). It's made of a chrysanthemum stone from Australia, glassbead head and silver-plated metal wire.

Halusin tehdä yksinkertaisen se takia että voin sitä myös töissä käyttää :).

I made a simple bracelet out of malachitechips, sodalite gems, glass beads, metal butterflies and silver plated wire.
I wanted to make a simple one because then I can use it also at work :).

Tänään syntyi Hämähäkki-Heikki hopeoidusta langasta, mustasta lasihelmestä ja lumihiuteleobsidiaanipisarasta. Ja Heikki halusi lähteä seikkailemaan :).
Ennen kuin se asettuisi rintakoruksi :)

Today Heikki the Spider borned from silver plated wire, black glass bead and snowflake obsidian.
And Heikki wanted to go for an adventure :).
Before it would settled down to be a brooch :).

Vihdoin jotain uutta -o- Finally something new

Vihdoin sain jotain aikaiseksi. Loman loppuminen ja töihin paluu on pitänyt kiireisenä. Mutta nyt minulla on yksi kaulakoru näytettävä. Lomalla ostin kauniita afrikkalaisia turkoosihelmiä ja niistä tein mustien lasihelmien kanssa kaulakorun. Riipukseksi koruun laitoin jo aikaisemmin ostamani "ilotulitusjaspiksen" (fireworks jasper).

Finally I got something to do. Ending of holiday and starting of work have kept me busy. But now I have a necklace to show. On holiday I bought beautiful African turquoisegems. And by using them and black glassbeads I made a necklace. I put a "fireworks jasper" for a pendant which I have already bought earlier.

I made a little jewelry set of black and green glass beads and silver earring hooks for my friend.

Tein myös sinertävän ketjun silmälaseja tai aurinkolaseja varten.
Tämä on minulle itselle :).
Helmet ovat lasia ja lanka värjättyä kuparilankaa.
Vaikeaa oli ottaa kuvaa siitä...:)
