Orkidea -o- Orchid

Palasin pikku tauon jälkeen Abby Hookin kirjan "Wire Jewelry Masterclass" pariin. Tein sieltä ohjeista Orkidea-rintakorun. Se oli oikeastaan ensimmäinen ohje, josta aattelin että tuo on ehdottomasti tehtävä -kun sain kirjan käteen. Ja nyt sen tein :).
Tykkäsin tehdä sitä tosi paljon. En ehtinyt yhdeltä istumalta sitä tehdä, mutta koko ajan ajatukset pyörivät korussa, kun se oli vielä keskeneräinen. Ja voi sitä tunnetta kun kun viimein sain sen valmiiksi <3! Siinä on se, miksi tykkään tehdä näitä metallilankakoruja :)!

Orkidea-rintakoru hopeoidusta langasta, lasihelmistä ja valmiista rintakoruneulasta (ohjeessa oli itsetehty neula, mutta laitoin nyt valmiin)-o- Orchid brooch, made of silver plated wire, glassbeads and ready-made brooch pin (there was a self-made brooch pin on tutorial, but I put ready-made one on this time)

After a little break I get back to Abby Hook's book "Wire Jewelry Masterclass". I followed one tutorial to make an Orchid brooch. When I saw that book for the first time, it was the first tutorial I wanted to make definitely. So now I did make it :)!

I liked a lot to make it! i didn't have the time to make at once. All the time when the brooch was unfinished, I was thinking about it. And oh boy! What a feeling it was, when I finished it <3!!! That's the reason why I'm making the metal wire jewelry :)!

Siinä se on nyt on takinpielessä :). Vanha takki, uusi rintakoru :D -o- Now it's there on the front of my coat :). Old coat and new brooch :).

Sininen rintakoru -o- Blue brooch

Tein yksinkertaisen rintakorun akaatista ja hopeoidusta langasta.

I made a simple brooch out of agate and silver plated wire.

Rintakoru takaa. Otin kuvan vahingossa väärinpäin ;).

The brooch on the opposite side. I took a pic, accidentally, upside down ;).

Jos joku koruntekijä on kiinnostunut näistä sinistä kivistä, minulla on niitä enemmänkin. Niiden koko on 50x25 mm. Sain niitä Australiasta, jonkin verran :).
If someone, who is making jewelry, is interested about these blue stones - I've more of them. Those sizes are 50x25 mm. I got them from Australia, quite much ;).

Tilaustöitä pitkästä aikaa :) -o- Custom works for a long time :)

Vaikka täällä on ollut hiljaisempaa, olen silti tehnyt koruja ;). Nimittäin tilaustöitä :).
Halusin laittaa kaikki 3 samaan postaukseen.

Although here has been more quiet, I have made jewelry ;). Namely custom works :).
I wanted to put all three pieces to one blog post.

Ennen kuin uusi hämis lähti postitse Jyväskylän suuntaan, se tapasi Heikin ;) -o- Before  the new spider  travelled to Jyväskylä by mail, it met Heikki ;)

Sitten korvikset ystävälle. 

Ensin piti tehdä vain toinen korvis, mutta päädyin tekemään kuitenkin parin.

Ehkä nämä näyttävät tutuilta ;).

Then the earrings for a friend.
First I had to made only one earring, but I ended up making both earrings anyway.
Maybe these look familiar ;).

Ja sitten vielä syksyn viimeinen omenapuu :).
Runko on jo muuttunut hopeanharmaaksi ;).
Lehdet on vihreitä turkooseja ja omenat jadehelmiä.

And then the last apple tree of this autumn :).
The trunk has alredy turned to silvery grey ;).
The leaves are green turquoises and apples jadegems.

Hämähäkki-Heikin seikkailut :) -o- The adventures of Heikki the Spider :)

Tänään syntyi Hämähäkki-Heikki hopeoidusta langasta, mustasta lasihelmestä ja lumihiuteleobsidiaanipisarasta. Ja Heikki halusi lähteä seikkailemaan :).
Ennen kuin se asettuisi rintakoruksi :)

Today Heikki the Spider borned from silver plated wire, black glass bead and snowflake obsidian.
And Heikki wanted to go for an adventure :).
Before it would settled down to be a brooch :).

Matka alkoi nahkatuolilta -o- The trip started from a leather chair

Piti kokeilla myös sohvaa -o- Had to try also a couch

Ulkona kiven päällä -o- Outside on the rock

Heikki tapasi myös ystävänsä Helmin (Helmin olen saanut perintönä mummolta) -o- Heikki also met  his friend, Helmi (I have got Helmi from my grandmother for years ago)

Kukan lehdellä oli hauska juoksennella :D -o- It was fun to run around on the leave of a plant

Ja sitten se paikka löytyi :) -o- And then the right place was found :)
