Lisää sormuksia -o- More rings

Tein ystävälle syntymäpäiväksi sormuksen. Siinä sivussa syntyi muitakin sormuksia. Lahjasormuksesta minulla ei ole vielä kuvaa, koska unohdin ottaa kuvan siitä ennen kuin annoin sen. Saan kuvan myöhemmin.

I made a ring for a birthday present to my friend. On the side somehow the other rings were also created.
I don't have a picture of the present ring yet, because I forgot to take a picture of it, before I gave it. I will have the picture later.

Tämä sormus on tehty hopeoidusta langasta ja malakiittihelmestä.

This ring is made of silver plated wire and malachite gem.

Tämä sormus on tehty antiikkikuparilangasta ja värjätystä jadehelmestä.

This ring is made of antique copper wire and colored jade gem.

Joo, edellisen kaulakorun pariksi tein sitten pronssiketjusta, jota oli vielä jäljellä, rannekorun.

Siinä on pronssiketjua, sinisiä lasihelmiä ja punaisia jadehelmiä.

                               

Yes, I made a bracelet to wear with that previous bronze chain necklace. I had some bronze chain still left.

So there is bronze chain, blue glass beads and red jadegems.

Tänään olen tehnyt kaksi korua.

Halusin tehdä yksinkertaisen kaulakorun, mutta missä on paljon ketjua ja tällänen siitä tuli.

Tämä on tarkoitus laittaa juhliin kirjavan mekon kanssa ensi viikolla :).

Tämän korun tein jo jonkun aikaa sitten. Mutta laitan sen nyt vasta esille koska syntymäpäivät olivat vasta eilen.

Kaulakorussa on oransseja karneolihelmiä, kirjavia jadehelmiä ja mustia lasihelmiä. Riipuksena on isompi akaatti. En tiedä , mikä akaatti ;). Metallilanka on vintage-lankaa. 

Minun täytyy hankkiakin sitä lisää seuraavaksi. Tykkään siitä :)!

There are orange carnelians, colored jadegems and black glass beads in this necklace. As a pendant there is a agate. I don't know which agate ;). The wire is vintage-wire.

Soon I really have get so more of this wonderful vintage-wire. I really like it :)!

The trunk has alredy turned to silvery grey ;).
The leaves are green turquoises and apples jadegems.

Leaves of the tree are made of green turquoisechips, apples are jadegems and
tree trunk is copper.

Tein ensi viikon myyjäisiin parit "unelmien pyydys"-kuparikorvikset.
Helmet ovat jadehelmiä.
En ollut ihan tyytyväinen valmiisiin kuparisiin osiin...
Jatkossa teen itse mahdollisimman paljon :).

I made a couple of "catcher for dreams" copper earrings for the
next week's fair.
The beads are jade gems.
I wasn't quite satisfied for the copper parts I bought for earrings...
For now on I am going to make those parts by myself as much
as possible :).

Triad-orjakoruja -o- Triad Slave Bracelets

Tässä niitä nyt on, mitä olen piilotellut :D.
Ne ovat Triad-orjakoruja.
Olen "30 Seconds to Mars"-bändin fani ja yksi heidän merkeistään on Triad eli kolmio jossa on väliviiva. Triad tarkoittaa "ryhmää, jossa on kolme".
Olen halunnut kokeillut orjakorun tekoa ja tähän sain hyvin yhdistettyä molemmat :). Malli ja suunnittelu on omani.

They are Triad Slave Bracelets.
I am a fan of "30 Seconds to Mars" and one of their signs is Triad. Triad means " a group of three".
I have wanted to try to make a slave bracelet and now I combined them as one bracelet :). The model and design is my own.
Me and my friends were wearing these bracelets on "Marsians´" concert in Tallinn, 21.6.11.

Ja tässä kevyt jadeketju. Kuparilanka on värjätty mustaksi.
Ketju on pitkä. Siitä saa rannekorun tai pidemmän tai lyhemmän kaulaketjun.

A light jade chain. Copperwire is colored. The chain is long one. You can use it as a bracelet or as a longer or shorter necklace.

I have been going to the fysiotherapy for all spring. I have got so much help and hope that my arm will be fine.
Today was the last time there and I gave this tree of life -necklace to my helper.
The leaves are jadegems and wire is vintage one.

Pitkä rannekoru -o- Long bracelet

Tein kuparista, hematiiteista ja jadehelmistä pitkä rannekorun.
Sitä voi kyllä käyttää kaulakorunakin. Se on 77 cm pitkä.
Tykkään, kun sen saa kierrettyä 4 kertaa ranteen ympärille :).

Veljeni toi vuosia sitten hematiitti-kaulakorun Fidjiltä, mutta
se meni rikki jossain vaiheessa. Nyt kierrätin hematiittihelmiä ja laitoin niitä
tähän koruun :).

I made a long bracelet from copper, hematite and jadegems.
You can use it as a necklace too. It's 77 cm long.
I like when it can be wrapped around the wrist 4 times :).

My brother brought me a hematite necklace from Fiji a long time ago.
But it broke down for some reason. Now I recycled hematitegems and used
them for this jewel :).

Takaisin töihin -o- Back to the work

Olin pitkällä sairauslomalla. Yli 4 kuukautta... Nyt olen ollut sitten takaisin töissä vähän yli viikon. Kummallista se on ollut...
Olen kokeilemassa, pystynkö tätä työtä tekemään. Joten elän aika jännittäviä aikoja...
Postityö on hyvin fyysistä, pitää käyttää käsiä ja jalkoja. Toivon kuitenkin että käytettäisi enemmän myös päätä. Joskus tuntuu, että päätä ei paljoakaan käytetä... Minusta postityötä pystyy kyllä tekemään vähemmälläkin fyysisellä voimalla ja siihen juuri päätä tarvitaan. Yritän tehdä parhaani ja muuttaa luutuneita asenteita - vähitellen :).
Sairausloman aikana pystyin tekemään koruja ja tietysti edelleen. Olen siitä kiitollinen :). Rakastan niiden tekemistä! Juuri tällä hetkellä haen jotain uusia ideoita ja odotan tietysti uusia tilauksia ;). Pääsiäinen kun on tulossa, pitäisi ehkä kokeilla "linnun pesä"-riipuksia ja -korvakoruja. Tai jotain muuta keväistä.
Jotain uutta pitäisi keksiä myös tulevan viikon keikalle :). Ostimme äidille mm. liput syntymäpäivälahjaksi Mikko Kuustosen keikalle. Menemme sinne kahdestaan.
Pyrin tekemään aina uuden korun joka keikalle, jolle menen :). Tuntuu oudolta jos ei ole uutta  korua :D. Alla olevan korun tein viime viikkoiselle ystäväni lasten bändin, Olli-PA & Funksonin keikalle :).

Kuparia ja jadehelmiä -o- Copper and jade gems

I was on the long sick leave. More than 4 months... Now I have been back at work over a week. It has been odd...
I am trying if I am able to do that work. So I am living exciting times...
Working in postal service work is physical work, you have to use your feet and hands. I just wish the people would use more theirs heads also in their work and I think it's possible. Even in postal service work :). I am trying to do my best for changing people's attitudes :).
I was able to make my jewelries during my sick leave and of course I am continuing to make them. I am grateful for that :). I love to make them! Now I searching for new ideas and waiting for new orders ;).
The easter is coming and I thought to try making "bird nest" -pendants and -earrigs :). Or something else spring-like.
Something I should also design for the gig on coming week :). We bought for mom's birthdaypresent, among other things, the tickets for the Mikko Kuustonen's gig. We are going there together.
I always aspire to design and make new piece of jewelry for every gig I go :). It feels odd, if I am not wearing the new thing :D. I made the pendant above for the gig of my friends kid's band, Olli-PA & Funksons, last week :).

Kultainen koivu ja jadekorvikset -o- Golden birch and jade earrings

Tein tilaustyönä elämänpuu-korun kullattuna ja peridoottilehdin. Minusta peridootti-sirut tekevät puusta tosi koivun näköisen. Tämä koivu on minusta vanhempi puu kuin se minkä tein aikasemmin ;).

I made as a custom a tree of life with gold plated wire and peridot "leaves". I think peridot chips made this tree a birch again. But this tree is maybe older than the tree I made earlier ;).

Tilaukseen kuului myös unelmien pyydys -korvikset jadehelmin. Löysin ihanan punaisia pieniä jadehelmiä. Otin mukaan myös kirjavia jadehelmiä, joista löytyi vihertävää väriä. Kumpikin kävivät hyvin kullatun metallilangan kanssa :).

There were also the catchers for dreams -earrings with jade gems on this order. I found lovely tiny red jade gems. I took along also mottled jade gems, where I could find greenish color. They both fit fine with gold plated metal wire :).
