Kesä on ohi, vai onko? / The summer is over, or is it?

Niin se kesä on taas kulunut nopeaan.
Mutta toivottavasti sitä on vielä jäljellä!

Olin pitkällä kesälomalla ensin ja sitten yhden työpäivän jälkeen taas sairauslomalla... Ei hyvin mee!

Ihmettelen edelleen miten en saa tehtyä näitä blogeja iPadilla tai iPhonella! Varsinkin kuvien laittaminen on hankalaa. Osaako joku neuvoa tai sanoa, miksi tää on niin hankalaa? Vai onko jossain joku sovellutus tai vastaava, joka sopii noille paremmin?
(Tän blogin sain nyt kuitenkin tehtyä vähän kommervenkkejä käyttäen.)

Koruja olen tehnyt kuitenkin! Mutta ne on olleet lähinnä kokeiluita, joita en julkaise 😉. Mulla on tilaustyö tekeillä vanhalle ystävälle ja se vaatii nyt kaikenlaista testailua. Tykkään tehdä niitä todella!

Olen myös suunnittelemassa ns. fanikoruja liittyen Game of Thronesiin -tv-sarjaan ja tulevaan Doctor Strange-leffaan.

So the summer has flown so fast.
But I hope there's some left still!
I was in a long summer holiday first. And after one day back at work, I'm back on sick leave... Not good!

Still wondering why it's so hard to make these blogs with iPad and iPhone! Especially putting pics here is hard! Why? Can someone give me an advise or say what's wrong? Is there an app or something else to make this easier?
(I made this blog anyway by using some trickeries)

Making jewelry anyway! Mostly I have made some tests, so I won't publish them 😉.
Making a commision for my old friend and it needs to make some tests. But it's really fun!

Also planning to make some fandom jewelry related to Game of Thrones -tv show and upcoming Doctor Strange movie.

Olen viime aikoina tehnyt tilaustöitä rakkaille ystävilleni netissä ympäri maailmaa.

Näiden ystävien kanssa olen tekemisissä joka päivä ja nykyään ehkä enemmän kuin kenenkään muun offline ystävien ja perheenjäsenten kanssa.

Lately I have made some commissions for my dear friends on the Internet around the world.

I interact with these friends on every day and maybe more than I do nowadays with my offline friends and family.

And loving it <3

It was so lovely to make those pieces of jewelry for them. And then send them around the world! The farthest ones went to US. Or they haven't arrived yet. But soon I hope they will arrive! And also as safe and sound!

Ensin tein tämän sinisen elämänpuu -kaulakorun hopeoidusta langasta ja lapis latsuli siruista.

First I made this blue necklace out of silver plated wire and lapis lazuli chips.

Sitten tein keväisen vihreät elämän puu -korvakorut hopeoidusta langasta ja peridootti- sekä  ametistisiruista.

Then I made these springly green tree of life  earrings out of silver plated wire and peridot and amethyst chips.

Ja viimeisimpänä tein hopeisen elämänpuu -sormuksen peridootti rondelleilla.

En ole vuosiin tehnyt mitään hopeasta ja se oli mielenkiintoista kyllä nyt. Mutta olen kiitollinen että sain tilaustyön hopeasta!

And the latest one was a silvery tree of life ring with peridot rondelles.

Haven't made anything out of silver wire for years and it was surely interesting now.

But I'm really grateful for the chance to make a commission out of silver!

Löysin ihanan elämänpuu -sormusmallin ja olen siitä tehnyt pari harjoitusmallia.

Tein ystävälle syntymäpäiväksi sormuksen. Siinä sivussa syntyi muitakin sormuksia. Lahjasormuksesta minulla ei ole vielä kuvaa, koska unohdin ottaa kuvan siitä ennen kuin annoin sen. Saan kuvan myöhemmin.

I made a ring for a birthday present to my friend. On the side somehow the other rings were also created.
I don't have a picture of the present ring yet, because I forgot to take a picture of it, before I gave it. I will have the picture later.

"Merisiili"-sormus -o- "Sea Urchin" -ring

Tämä sormus on ollut tekeillä todella kauan.
Siitä on kuukausia, kun aloin kieputtamaan kapussin kehää tähän sormukseen.
En tiedä, miksi tämän tekeminen aina jäi.
Ehkä tekeminen näytti liian vaikealta, mutta ei se ollutkaan :).
Tämä on muuten pitkästä aikaa Abby Hookin mallista tehty. Merisiili on suora suomennus sormuksen nimestä.
Kapussia pitävät sakarat ovat kyllä pikkusen erilaiset mitä mallissa, mutta tämä tuli nyt näin tehtyä.

Vihreä kapussi on krysopraasi Australiasta. Rakastan tuota väriä :)!
Lanka on edelleen vintage pronssilankaa.

This ring has been, in the making, for a very long time.

It's been months, when I started to wrap the frame for this ring.

I just don't know why I stopped to make it.

Maybe it seems to be too complicated, but after all it wasn't :).

By the way, this is a Abby Hook's model, haven't done them for a ling time. Though the prongs that hold the cabouchen aren't the same kind.

Green cabouchen is a chrysoprase from Australia. I just love that color :)!

The wire is the same old, vintage bronze.

Olen sairauslomalla ja tässä parina yönä olen tehnyt pari sormusta.
Ne jotka ovat käyneet Instagramissa, ovat ehkä jo nähneet ne. Laitan nykyään kuvat aina ensin sinne. Se on minun mielestä aika kätevä paikka laittaa ja jakaa kuvia :).

I have been on sick leave for a while. I have made a couple of rings at the a couple of nights.

Nyt kuitenkin koitan laittaa tänne pari kuvaa ja vähän kirjotusta :).

I made a Summer ring. It's made of vintage bronze wire using my new ring mandrel.

Kokeilin just tehdä tällä tekniikalla sormuksia. Ja niistä tuli tälläisiä.

Ametistihelmi ja kullattua metallilankaa. Rakastan tuota ametistia :) -o- Amethyst and gold-plated metal wire. I love that amethyst :)

I just tried to make rings on this technique for the first time. And here they are :).

Ootte ehkä huomanneet että viikolla ei täällä paljon tapahdu. Viikonloppuna päivittelen enemmän. Se johtuu tietysti työstä. Toisaalta toisina viikkoina pystyn ja jaksan tehdä viikollakin :). Ja se on jännä että minulla nykyään pyörii nämä korut mielessä koko ajan. Tai siis suunnittelen koko ajan. Tykkään niin paljon  :). Täytyykin tästä mennä nettikaupan puolelle uutta tilausta tekemään. Eilen kävin kyllä ihan askartelukaupassa, mutta se oli just menossa kiinni, enkä ehtinyt paljon mitään.

Kiitos kommenteista. Tykkään tosi paljon kun saan palautetta, koska itse olen sellainen että annan palautetta, koska muutehan ei pysty tietämään tykätänkö vai ei.

You may have noticed that here isn't happening much during weekdays. I update more on the weekends. It is caused by my work. Sometimes I am able to make jewelleries also on the weekdays.
And it's interesting that these things are on my mind constantly. Or I am planning all the time. I like this so much :).
Now I have to go to the net store to get some more. Yesterday I went to the crafts store but it was about to close, so there wasn't enough time to do "proper" purchase.

I wish I could get also comments in English :). I have gotten them in Finnish quite much. I like very much to get comments because I am the one who is always commenting in everywhere :D.
Without feedback you can't improve or know whether they like what are you doing or not. So every kind of comments are very welcome :).
