Olen tehnyt paljon kumihimo -koruja lisää. Joskus jopa yksi tai kaksi per päivä. Ja nyt ajattelin laittaa kuvia tänne mitä olen tehnyt, sen enempää selittämättä.

No niin, siinähän niitä jotain tuli. Kaikki ei ole tässä, niin kuin sanoin mutta jotain kuitenkin :).
Osa on myös miehille tarkoitettu. Yksi oli lahja isälle ja suurin osa on myynnissä Etsy kaupassani.

So, there are they. Like I said, not all are here, but some anyway :).
Some are for men. One was a birthday present for my father. And most of them are for sale on my Etsy shop.

Lisää kumihimoa! / More kumihimo!

Olen tehnyt lisää koruja kumihimo-tekniikalla.
Kumihimo tarkoitti japanilaista nyörien punontaa, jos et vielä ole edellistä postausta nähnyt :).

Ja joulu kun tulee tässä vähitellen, tein jouluisen helmi kumihimo rannekorun.

Rannekoru on tehty kahdenkokoisista ja -värisistä säröhelmistä. Lukko on hopeoitu.

I have made more kumihimo jewelry.

Bracelet is made of two sized and two colored crackle beads. The clasp is silver plated one.

Olen tehnyt myös erääseen uuteen elokuvaan liittyvän korun.

Elokuva on Doctor Strange :).

Odotin elokuvaa vuoden. Sen ensi-ilta oli 26.10. Suomessa ja suosittelen elokuvaa kaikille hyvän ja viihdyttävän elokuvan ystäville.
Se on Marvel-elokuva, mutta se on enemmän kuin aikaisemmat samantyyppiset elokuvat. Minusta se on paremmin tehty kuin aikaisemmat ja lahjakkaat näyttelijät nostavat sen sfääreihin!

Tein Eye of Amagotto kaulakorun.

 Silmä-koru on tehty vintage pronssilangasta ja sammalakaattihelmestä. Siinä on kumihimo nyöri ja magneettilukko.

I made also a necklace which is related to one new movie.
The movie is Doctor Strange :).

I waited for this movie for a year. Its premiere in Finland was on 26th of October and I recommend this movie to everybody who likes good and entertaining movies.
It is a Marvel movie, but I think it is much more than previous ones. I think it is made better and the talented actors and actresses are lifting it up to the spheres!

I made the Eye of Amagotto necklace.

The Eye is made of vintage bronze wire and moss agate gem. There is kumihimo braid with magnetic clasp.

Se on tehty viljellyistä puukorallihelmistä ja antiikkikuparilangasta.

But I do make a bracelet for a friend. This bracelet chain can also be used as a necklace.

It's made of cultivated sponge coral beads and antique copper wire.

Tein tälläisen hentoisen rannekorun.
Virkkaamalla.
Hopeanvärinen metallilanka on 0,2 mm.
Ympärysmitta on 18,5cm.
Lisänä siinä on vuorikristallihelmi.

I made an ethereal bracelet.
By crocheting.
Silver colored wire is 0,2 mm.
Its circuit is 18,5 cm.
There is also a rock crystal gem.

Vuoden aluksi -o- For the beginning of the year

Näin uuden vuoden aluksi tein muutaman rannekorun.
Toinen oli nopeatekoinen ja toisessa kesti jonkin verran kauemmin. Voitte arvata kumpi on kumpi ;)?

For the beginning of the year I made a couple of bracelets.
The other one was quickly to make and other one took more time to make. You can guess, which is which ;).

Ihana vihreä -o- Lovely green

Tein yksinkertaisen rannekorun itselle
kaikkea muuta kuin yksinkertaisen näköisistä kivihelmistä ;).

Siinä on vihreitä impression jaspiksia, luultavasti yksi kivettynyt puu-kivihelmi (en ihan varma) ja vintage bronze lankaa.

Kivet on hankittu Design Mimin ihanasta kaupasta :).
Vihreä jaspis on yksi Neitsyt-horoskoopin kivistä. Ainakin Anne Hietasen "Valonvoimaa - kivi- ja väriterapiaoppaan" mukaan :). Ilmankos siitä niin tykkäänkin ;D.

I made a simple bracelet for myself. The gems were anything but simple ;).

There were green impression jasper, probably petrified wood-gem (not sure) and vintage bronze wire.

Gems are bought from lovely Design Mim store :).
Green jasper is one of the Virgo's gems, at least according to Anne Hietanen's book "Valonvoimaa - kivi- ja väriterapiopas". No wonder, why I like it so much ;D.

Teinpä sitten muutamat rannekorut joustavan langan kanssa.

I have a lot of multicolored gemchips.
So, I made a couple of bracelets out of them with flexible string.

Vihreä on malakiittia, keltainen akaattia ja sininen sodaliitti.
Tässä ei ole kaikki värit, mitä minulla on ;).

Green is malachite, yellow is agate and blue is sodalite.
These colors are not the only ones I have ;).

Minun lempibändini, 30 Seconds To Mars, kävi juuri Suomessa ja täällä Helsingissä Rock The Beach -festareilla.

Olen ollut niin "Up In The Air" siitä lähtien :D. Ja toivon että he pian palaavat :).

My favourite band, 30 Seconds To Mars, just visited Finland and they played a gig on Rock The Beach Festival.

I have been so "Up In The Air" since :D and I wish they would come back soon :) .

Syntymäpäivänä tädille -o- For aunt on her birthday

Tein kaksi korua tädilleni.
Kaulakorun tilasi hänen tyttärensä eli minun serkku.
Rannekorun tein lahjaksi itseltä.

I made two pieces of jewelry for my aunt.
A necklace was the custom order from her daughter, my cousin.
A bracelet was a gift from me.

Tämä kaulakoru on aika samanlainen kuin se, jonka tein äidille noin vuosi sitten. Riipuksena on celestiitti eli enkelikivi kieputettu hopeoidulla langalla. Hopeoidussa ketjussa on mukana ametistisiruja.
Tuolta  löytyy tietoa celestiitistä. Siellä sanotaan mm. että horoskooppimerkki Vesimies saa voimaa tästä kivestä ja tätini on Vesimies :).

This necklace is looking a lot like a necklace I made for my mom a year ago. There is a celestite ( so-called angelstone) wrapped by silver plated wire as a pendant. And there are amethystchips on the silver plated chain.
Here  you can find some information about celestite. They said, for instance, that this stone gives strenght to Aquarius. And guess what - my aunt is Aquarius :).

Keskelle rannekorua laitoin Australiasta aikoinaan saamani opaalin. Lisäksi siellä on ametistihelmiä, jotka ovat kieputettu hopeoidulla langalla. On siellä pieni pätkä hopeaakin. Se on opaalin taustakehyksenä.

I put an opal in the middle of a bracelet. I've got the opal from Australia years ago. There are also amethystgems which are wrapped by silver plated wire. And there is also a little piece of silver wire. It's behind the opal.

Tuliaisia Australiaan -o- Souvenirs to Australia

Minun vanhempani lähtivät käymään Australiassa enoni luona.
Äidin idea oli pari päivää ennen lähtöä että tekisin koruja mukaan heille tuliaisiksi.
No, vähän kiire siinä tuli...
Mutta 4 korua tein mukaan.
Kolmesta on kuva. Siinä hässäkässä jäi yhdestä kuva ottamatta :).
Se on yksinkertainen rannekoru vintage-langasta ja mustista tuliakaatieta.

My parents travelled to Australia to visit my uncle.
Mom's idea was (just 3 days before leaving) that I could make some jewelry to give as souvenirs.
Well, I had a kind of hurry...
But I made 4 pieces to take with them.
There are 3 pics of them.
In that hassle I missed one :).
It was a simple bracelet, made of vintage wire and black fire agates.

Niinkuin aikaisemmin kerroin - olen innostunut nyt tekemään Abby Hookin suunnittelemia koruja.

Ja taas tein yhden ;).
Tekeminen kyllä kesti - jonkin aikaa.

Tämä on suuritöisin koru mitä ikinä olen tehnyt.
Silti katson että tämä on harjoitustyö - teen joskus paremman :).

So I have told you before - I am very exited to wrap wire jewelry which Abby Hook has designed.

I think that those models are just wonderful :)!

And  I made one more again ;).

Making it took - quite long time.

This bracelet took more work to be done than any other piece of jewelry has ever take.

Still I think this is a work of practise - someday I will make better one :).

Hehkuva oranssi -o- Glowing orange

Tein tuollaisen yksinkertaisen rannekorun hehkuvista helmistä. Materiaali on "jotain massaa" :). Näin sanoi myyjä kun ostin. Ne ovat tosi kevyitä. Lanka on vintagea.


I made that kind of simple bracelet out of glowing beads. The material of them is "some kind of mass" :). The seller told me that when I bought them. They are very light. The wire is vintage one.
