Niin se kiireinen joulukuu meni ja saapui uusi vuosi 2020!
Outo vuosiluku tuo tuollainen 2020, vai mitä?

Tää on vaan tälläinen pikku postaus että elossa ollaan!
Ja blogia päivitellaan kun ehitään. Ja varmaan ehitäänkin ihan pian!

Ensimmäinen Tähtiportti-koru -o- The first one of Stargate-jewelries

 Minä olen melkoinen avaruus-fani.

Kaikki avaruusjutut kiehtovat kovasti.

Myös kaikki merkit ja muodot kiinnostavat, siis ihan muinaisista kirjainmerkeistä kaikennäköisiin symboleihin.

Tykkään myös vanhemmista TV-sarjoista, kuten MacGyver ja Tähtiportti (eli Stargate SG-1).

Sitten kun tykkään kieputella koruiksi kaikenlaisia asioita ja merkkejä - tein sitten minun ensimmäisen Tähtiportti-korun :). Aion tehdä niitä enemmänkin, siksi tuo "ensimmäinen" :).

Tuo kyseinen merkki tarkoittaa Maata.

Merkki on kieputettu hopeasta. Painona siinä on pieni hematiitti-helmi.

I am such a space fan.

Every kind of space stuff is fascinating for me.

Also all kinds of signs, glyphs and shapes interest me. From ancient writing letters to many kind of symbols.

I also like old TV-series like MacGyver and Stargate SG-1.

Then when I also like to wrap many kind of jewelries out of many kind of things and signs - I made my first Stargate-jewel :).
I am going to make more of them, that's why that "first" :).

That glyph means Earth.

Glyph is made of silver. As a weigh there is a hematite gem.

Tessu

Ajattelin esitellä korun, jonka tein n. 20 vuotta sitten. Tai no ei siitä ihan niin kauaa ole ;).

Meidän perheen ensimmäinen koira oli Tessu, joka tuli taloon vuonna 1990. Se oli pikkuveljeni koira. Muutaman vuoden päästä menin "kivikouluun" ja tein siellä Tessu-korun hopeasta. Kaiversin muotoilemani hopealaatan valokuvan perusteella Tessun näköiseksi ja laitoin sen hopeaketjuun. Annoin korun veljelleni (eri veljelle kuin edellisessä blogissa :)).

Tänä kesänä veljeni antoi korun puhdistettavaksi ja halusi siihen paksumman ketjun.
Ennen kuin lähetin uudistuneen takasin omistajalle, otin kuvan siitä.
Ja tässä se on: hopeinen Tessu :).

I thought I could introduce a piece of jewelry that I made almost  20 years ago. Or no... That wasn't so long time ago ;).

First dog of our family was Tessu. He came to our house on 1990. He was my little brother's dog.
After a couple of years I went to that "school of stone". There I made this Tessu-necklace out of silver. I carved a piece of  shaped silver plate to look like Tessu (based on photo). Then I put it to silver chain. I gave the necklace to my brother (the other brother than previous blog :)).

This summer my brother gave this necklace to clean and he wanted a thicker chain for that.
Before I sent the renewed necklace back to its owner, I took a pic of it.
And here it is, a silvery Tessu :).

Minulla on ollut tietokone-ongelmia keväästä asti. En ole päässy päivittämään omaa blogia enkä katselemaan muiden blogea omalta koneelta. Muiden koneilta ainoastaan. Joten aika harvakseltaan olen pystynyt olemaan täällä. Mutta nyt minulla on kone joka toivottavasti toimii paremmin kuin edellinen. En jaksa odottaa, että saan taas päivittää blogiani nornaalisti :)!

I have been having these computer problems. I couldn't have update my blog nor visit other blogs from my computer. Only I managed to do that from other's computer. So there were quite few visits here. But now I have a computer that hopefully works. I can't wait to update my blog as I normally did :)!

Veljelle lahja :) -o- Gift for brother :)

Minun toinen veljeni on kova hevi-fani :) ja tykkää paljon suomalaisesta raskaammasta musiikista.
Kuukausia sitten hän tilasi minulta Sonata Arctica-korun. En ehtinyt sitä aikaisemmin tehdä kuin vasta nyt kesällä. Ja tein sen sitten hänelle lahjaksi, koska sopivasti oli "pyöreät" synttärit tulossa :).

My other brother is a "big" heavymusic fan :) and he likes a lot of Finnish heavier music.
For months ago he ordered me a Sonata Arctica piece of jewel. I didn't have time to make it until now on the summer. And then I made it for a gift because the "big" birthday was coming :).

Kehittelin riipuksen tuosta ylläolevasta "kaksois-a"- merkistä. En voi sanoa että se oli helppoa :D, mutta en luovuttanut. Vähitellen se siitä syntyi. Sain sen valmiiksi juuri syntymäpäivään mennessä.

Onneksi olkoon, veljeni :)!

I developed a pendant out of that "double-a"-sign above. I can't say it was easy :D, but I didn't give up. Bit by bit it turned to be a pendant. It was ready just in time for the birthday.

Nyt saan laitettua vihdoin nämä lahjakorutkin. Tein ne myös jo viikkoja sitten.
Tein ystäväni tytöille lahjat ja tietysti korut :).
Toinen täytti 18 vuotta ja toinen pääsi ripille.
Juhlat oli hienot ja tässä on korut.

I made gifts for my friend's daughters
Other one was turning to be 18 years and other one had a comfirmation.
The party was fine and jewelry are here.

Yksi ystävistäni täytti pyöreitä vuosia ja halusin tietysti tehdä lahjaksi korun.
No, tein korusetin. Korvikset ja kaulakorun. Halusin myös käyttää siinä joitain
Vesimiehen onnenkiviä ja tässä tapauksessa ne olivat haukansilmä ja ametisti.

One of my friends had birthday and, of course, I wanted to make jewelry for a present.
So I made a jewelry set: a necklace and the earrings. I wanted to use some of Aquarius'
lucky stones and in this case I used hawkseye and amethysts.

I made a little jewelry set of black and green glass beads and silver earring hooks for my friend.

Tein myös sinertävän ketjun silmälaseja tai aurinkolaseja varten.
Tämä on minulle itselle :).
Helmet ovat lasia ja lanka värjättyä kuparilankaa.
Vaikeaa oli ottaa kuvaa siitä...:)

I also made a bluish chain for the glasses.
This one is for me :).
There are glass beads and colored copper wire.
It was tough to take a pic from it....)
